Snow Closing Policy

Days that Montgomery County schools are closed due to snow, KidsCo will be open, unless Montgomery County Central Administrative Offices are closed. When Montgomery County Central Offices are closed KidsCo does not have access to the school building.

Parents may find out if we are open by doing one of the following:

• Parents may log on to our web site to see if we are open.  Our web site is updated by 6:00 am.
• Tune in to your favorite news channels:
            WJLA News 7 (ABC)
            Fox News 5
            NBC News 4
            Eyewitness News 9 (CBS)
• Call your center.  Center answering machines are updated by 6:00 am.

Parents will still need to call the center prior to bringing their child, to find out what your child should bring for the day.  There will be a message left by 6:00 AM at each center.
