Optional Activities

Field Trips:
Throughout the school year, KidsCo will be taking many field trips around the local area. During all of our trips, safety is our foremost concern. We take precautionary and practical measures to assure the safety of all KidsCo children. All children are given a specially designed shirt that is worn on all trips. KidsCo also uses I.D. bands when shirts are not practical, such as on swimming trips. To better ensure safety and accountability, all staff are required to wear KidsCo staff shirts, and are equipped with a walkie-talkie radio for fast communication.

Teens Night Out:
These are special activities custom designed for our Teen Class! We will periodically offer optional Friday night events that begin after regular KidsCo hours and typically include dinner. A Teens Night Out may be a 'Late Night' Dance Party complete with a DJ, Indoor Surfboarding and Sumo Ring, a trip downtown to catch a Wizards Basketball Game or we may venture out to Jillians's to have dinner and hang in the arcade before catching a movie. At times, school holidays fall on Fridays as well! On these special occasions, we may travel to an all day destination and not return until later in the evening after regular KidsCo hours. Some possibilities are to travel to Water Country USA, conquer Dorney Park, hang out and barbaue at Rehoboth Beach or even tour Philadelphia, PA.

Weekend Trips:
KidsCo will venture out on the weekends many times during the school year. Some fun & exciting trips we may attend are: Overnight camping, Skiing and Snowboarding, River or Snow Tubing, Hershey Park, and much, much, more....
