At KidsCo Jr., we recognize the importance of a young child’s routines and incorporate them into their care. Our daily schedule is based on Center Rotation which offers interest within different developmental stages and promotes individualized growth. Therefore, there is no beginning and ending times for our activities, rather, experiences are pre-planned and made available for our entire day, from 7:00am-6:00pm. When each child is ready and their schedule allows, they may experience our centers! Instead of a posted daily schedule, parents can expect to see a detailed written list of what activities we did for the day when they pick up!

During our Infant & Toddler circle time, children are encouraged to join, listen, and participate. Our circle time gives children an opportunity to anticipate favorite songs, interact with all team members and enjoy positive group interactions. Even our youngest of infants responds to the contact circle time fun provides! It includes songs, chants, finger plays, poetry, puppet shows, storytelling, flannel boards, props, music, and movement.
Team members will work with infants to learn how to roll over and crawl. This time includes interacting on Activity Mats using intriguing toys to encourage physical development.
Gaining strength, coordination, and confidence are the focus of this time. Finger walking, swings, activity saucers, pushing toys, pulling up and beginning to step forward, trampoline time as well as interactive group games will be enjoyed.

Creativity and wonder are the joys of childhood! We will explore textures and sensory mediums by playing with water tables, bean boxes, play dough, finger paint, and other age appropriate toys.
Dexterity, concentration, and self esteem are strengthened by using blocks and
manipulatives, playing with puzzles and small toys, working with counters and matching, as well as having fun with crafts and projects.
Everyday, the world around us is changing. At KidsCo Jr. we will enjoy walks in strollers & wagons, nature hunts, outdoor games, kites and bubbles, tricycles and playground fun!
It’s never too early be interested in reading! Story time, puppets, sing-
alongs
, rhyme time, and musical instruments will all assist with sound, shape, letter, and color recognition.
One of the most important elements to a young child’s day is their quiet time. Everyone needs to be recharged in order to enjoy all of our activities! We will have a soothing environment for naps and feeding. Also, R&R time will be a one on one opportunity for ‘getting to know me’ time and lap lounging with our team.
